Well, the genre "Shonen-ai" or some people would call that "Yaoi", definitely scared most of the so-called "straight" guys away from this series. But I say, you are all wrong! You have to watch Sukisho first, before you say it's crap! And I dare say, after you watch it, you'll say, "Holy, this is one of the best anime series ever!"!

Based on the erogame (haven't try it myself yet) of the same name, the story stars Hashiba Sora, a boy who lost his memory after falling down from the window of the 4th floor of the school building. After he recovers and returns, on one night, he finds a strange boy on top of him. Discovered later that this boy, Fujimori Sunao, is his new roommate, and is supposed to be one of his old friends. Well, the trouble is, Sora can't remember about it at all, and he finds that Sunao seems to be different from time to time. Little does he know, that he too, shares this secret...

I first noticed this series from a few images I found online, and instantly fell in love with those characters. Later, discovered the manga of it (its a doujinshi) and fell in love again. And finally got my hands on the DVD, and you can guess about the rest of it... IT'S JUST WAY TOO GOOD!!!

The character desgins are probably the main reason why I like about this series. Just check them out yourself, and these pretty, or handsome, or cool characters would definitely make any girl's heart melt (maybe some guys too). I just love the designs of these characters, the cute Sunao, the cool Yoru, and other cool or cute guys!

I also find the themes and sound-tracks of Sukisho very enjoyable as well. Well, the opening and the ending seems to be the same, but never the less, it's great. Well, maybe not the opening, where the parts they hug each other naked... But still, the songs are just great.

The voice casts are just perfect for those characters. In fact, they are just I imagined them to be, the way Sora or Sunao speaks, and all... Anyway, all these, you have to watch and experience about them yourself!

By the way, to those who may dislike or despise Shonen-ai anime, just think of it this way, just imagine one of the characters in the couple to be a girl, and that way, it'll feels just normal as you wish. Well, I imagine Sunao (well, he just looks like a girl) to be a girl, and I really enjoy the series a lot (well, I like Shonen-ai stuff anyway, regardless of these).

In conclusion, Sukisho is a must watch anime series, well, for girls that's for sure, and as for guys, just watch it, and you'll love it as well!
